Lottie London Foundation Stick Review!

Choosing the right foundation for sensitive skin is one of life’s many challenges and I, myself, am yet to find a favourite. Recently I decided to change the game and test out the new All About That Base Foundation Stick by Lottie London. I had heard so much about this brand prior to this post and I was intrigued to discover whether this foundation really did meet my high expectations. To hear more about my opinions on this product, do continue further to read more and don’t forget to let me know in the comments below if there are any other products you would like me to test from this collection!

Thanks For Reading, HW.

I purchased this product online at Superdrug as when I have visited my local stores they haven’t had these products on display. The foundation itself comes in monochrome packaging which I like as it is simple yet effective, and this specific product retails for around £7.95.

As you may know, if you have previously seen my Top 5 Skincare Products post, I have oily, acne-prone skin. This foundation is one which claims to be matte and full coverage, however I found that the foundation is very lightweight – medium coverage, yet build-able if the full coverage look is what you prefer. With regards to mattifying my face I think this product did a reasonable job. I didn’t find that this foundation was so matte that it dried my skin, nor did it cling to any patches or slight blemishes. As I ordered the shade of foundation online, I decided to choose one of the lightest and safest option which is ivory, as I do have fair toned skin. I think this foundation suited my skin type well, its also so creamy upon application which is a major bonus as it doesn’t pull on the skin, and it blends like a dream. I have used this product almost everyday for two weeks now and I am loving it, so much so that I have recently made another online purchase of this foundation in a darker shade for when I tan on holiday. For a drugstore product I think that this is exceptional and I even prefer this to some of my higher end foundations. So far I haven’t received any blemishes upon testing, its very light on the skin and it also isn’t cakey. I can’t wait to try more products from this collection., well done Lottie London!
